OVERVIEW

Staylist is a new consumer-facing software where travelers can book outdoor adventures and campground managers can easily manage their bookings. They were in need of a new brand and identity that represents travel in a way that is visually engaging and intuitively understood. Staylist also needed an engaging trade show experience to reveal the new brand. Ultimately, they wanted to generate awareness, especially amongst campground managers, and drive interest in their demos.

An animated launch video and landing page were developed to communicate the key features of the software. Merchandise and collateral were created including t-shirts, stickers, business cards, brochures, and more.

Through a collaboration with building contractors, vendors, and account managers, an on-site experiential trade show booth was constructed from a shipping container to enhance Staylist’s presence at trade shows. The booth included demo stations with mounted mobile devices, signage, and fun activities like smores, games, and giveaways.

Traditional print ads incorporated the new logo in a large, impactful way to gain recognition among campground managers in B2B advertising. Aerial scenes were created through use of photo manipulation and composition to show the variety of types of campsites that Staylist helps manage.

ROLE

Responsible for logo and brand identity development. Art direction and assisting in concept of the brand launch video. Led creative of advertising materials including production of print and digital advertising, stationery, and merchandise. Led creative on overall concept, blueprints and layout, signage, selecting merchandise, decor, and building materials, as well as assembly of trade booth at the event.

RESULTS

The trade show activation was widely popular at its debut at the 2019 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo. The trade show garnered attention for the brand and has paved the way for Staylist to become one of the top OTT outdoor travel experiences. The activation and software were mentioned in prominent industry publications such as Woodall’s Magazine, RV Pro, and ARVC following the trade show debut.

The campaign received Best of Show and Best of Cross Platform at the 2020 Knoxville Addys.
